Nigel Lawrence
For over 25 years I’ve been working as a journalist and PR professional using words to make businesses stand out from their competitors. From lively sales copy to well crafted and punchy news announcements. And as an award winning poet and writer I know that every word you use has to deliver the right result.
In a career spent working with big brands like Royal Mail, Tesco.com, dunnhumby, and Kantar – as well as emerging brands and smaller businesses – I’ve learnt that to get your message across successfully – from new product launches to conference speeches– well chosen words can make the critical difference between ‘that seemed to go OK, didn’t it?’ and genuine, solid success.
And it’s not just the words themselves, but how you put them across. As an experienced actor, I also know that how you stand, how you put your own unique voice behind those words, also makes a telling difference to business success. That’s why I can not only help you craft the words, but also help you bring them to life. Finally, as a graduate of the MA in Creative Writing at UEA I passionately believe that the ability to think in new and diverse ways is also vital in today’s business environment. The business that can deliver a distinctive creative difference, is the business that will succeed. Being creative isn’t just something you can ‘add on’ like an app – it has to be an essential part of what you are – and how you motivate and stimulate your employees to help you build a more successful and innovate business.
